Watching movies in Russian is a great way to supplement your Russian learning. Of course it will take you a long time to understand everything, but you will continually pick up short expressions and words, as well as gain a better understanding of the words and expressions that you've already learned.
There are many great Russian movies and 'multiks' (animation/cartoons), some of which are quite simple and can be understood by beginners. In that regard, we organize all the videos according to their difficulty, so that you can spend your time more effectively.
We've uploaded several videos to YouTube which can be watched with English and Russian subtitles, but to really work on your Russian skills, as well as enjoy the video, you need our 'active text' and 'speed control'. Here's a nice, short video as an example.
Где папа раньше жил. (Where Papa used to live.) : A nice 3 min. video with English text to help with words you don't yet know.
We have a LOT of videos available for our members, and if you have a particular request, just ask and we will do it. For complete movies, we provide the torrent link to download the movie and then we provide the subtitles.
Here are a few more samples of the videos that we have for our members.

This is a great movie with beautiful scenery from Crimea.
12 - Nikita Mikhalkov : Part 1
This is a fantastic movie and I think it's much better than the Hollywood original "Twelve Angry Men".
